The Hundred Women’s 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Manchester Originals vs Northern Superchargers (Updated) ft. Beth Mooney and A Wellington

Oval Invincibles beat London Spirit by eight wickets in the first match of the day in the Hundred Women 2024. After being asked to bat first, the Spirit scored 120 for the loss of eight wickets at the Kennington Oval. Lauren Winfield-Hill won the award for the Player of the Match after she scored 61 off 40 with 10 fours. The Invincibles romped home with nine balls to spare.

Meanwhile, Manchester Originals beat Northern Superchargers by 17 runs in the second match of the day at Old Trafford. Beth Mooney won the Player of the Match award for an unbeaten 99 off 54 with 14 fours and three sixes. Chasing a target of 152, the Superchargers only ended with 134 for eight.

Nat Sciver-Brunt of the Trent Rockets is the leading run-scorer of the tournament. In six matches, she has notched up 269 runs at an average of 89.66 and a strike rate of 140.1 with a top score of 60 not out to her name. Danni Wyatt of the Southern Brave is second in the list with 225 runs at an average of 37.50.

Laura Wolvaardt is also in excellent form, having scored 215 runs at an average of 35.83. Beth Mooney climbed straight to No.4 after her stupendous knock against the Superchargers.
