"The strongest humans are not those who never fall" - Rishabh Pant shares motivational quote ahead of BGT 2024-25

Team India's Rishabh Pant shared a motivational quote on his Instagram story ahead of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 Test series against Australia. The wicketkeeper-batter's story was about how the strongest humans are those who continue to thrive against all odds.

Pant's comeback has been one of the most inspiring stories in world cricket. He made a triumphant return after a long injury hiatus following a tragic car crash in December 2022.

On his return, the 27-year-old won the 2024 T20 World Cup with the Indian team. Making a comeback to Test cricket after a gap of 365 days, the southpaw notched up a stunning ton, scoring 109 in India's second innings of the Chennai Test against Bangladesh in September.

Ahead of the grueling five-match Test series against Australia, Pant seemed all upbeat as he shared a quote that read:

"The strongest humans are not those who never fall, but those who rise again and again even when the odds are stacked against them."

Rishabh Pant was the hero for Team India during their visit to Australia in 2020-21, playing a key role in the side's momentous 2-1 series victory. The left-handed batter was his side's leading run-getter of the series, chalking up 274 runs across five innings.

"He always makes everyone laugh" - Ravindra Jadeja on Rishabh Pant

Team India's senior all-rounder recently praised Rishabh Pant for his jolly nature. He mentioned that the stumper often makes his teammates laugh. He also opined that Pant is the best keeper-batter going around.

Jadeja said during a chat with 7cricket:

"He (Pant) is a very exciting cricketer. Whenever he is around, he always makes everyone laugh. So, it's good to have him back in our team. And also, being a wicketkeeper-batter, he is one of the best at the moment."

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy kicks off in Perth on Friday, November 22. Team India need to win the five-match series 4-0 to qualify for the World Test Championship 2023-25 final on their own.
