TNPL 2024: How did the IPL players fare in IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans vs Dindigul Dragons, Match 16? ft. Ravichandran Ashwin & Baba Indrajith

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans and Dindigul Dragons locked horns in the 16th Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2024 match. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science Ground hosted the clash on Wednesday, July 17.

The game was reduced to 13 over-a-side after the rain interruption. Tamizhans batted first and posted 108 runs for the loss of four wickets. Radhakrishnan’s 36, Tushar Raheja’s 32, and Amit Sathvik’s 28* played a crucial role in setting the target. However, Dindigul Dragons’ Baba Indrajith (31*) and Boopathi Kumar (51*) helped them achieve the target in 11.5 overs, losing two wickets in the process.

R Sai Kishore (IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans)

R Sai Kishore who plays for Gujarat Titans, represents Tamizhans in the TNPL 2024. He bowled 1.5 overs and conceded 29 runs. He also scored two runs off one ball.


T Natarajan (IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans)

T Natarajan, the Sunrisers Hyderabad star, also had a rough day with the ball. He conceded 22 runs in two overs without taking a wicket.


Ravichandran Ashwin (Dindigul Dragons)

Ravichandran Ashwin of IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans bowled three overs, conceding 29 runs and taking one wicket as well. He didn’t get a chance to bat as the top and middle order chased the target comfortably.


Shivam Singh (Dindigul Dragons)

Punjab Kings picked Shivam Singh in the IPL 2024 auction. However, he is having a poor TNPL campaign, scoring 84 runs in four games, including a 78-run knock. He scored one four off five balls in the previous game against Tamizhans.


Baba Indrajith (Dindigul Dragons)

Baba Indrajith, who has played for Kolkata Knight Riders, batted at no.3 and scored an unbeaten 31-run knock from 25 balls, featuring three fours.


Varun Chakravarthy (Dindigul Dragons)

Varun Chakravarthy, another KKR star, was expensive with the ball for IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in the previous game. He conceded 28 runs in three overs at an economy of 9.33.


Sandeep Warrior (Dindigul Dragons)

Sandeep Warrior, representing Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024, had a fine day. He bowled a couple of overs with six dot balls and conceded only 13 runs.
