Travis Head starred with the bat for Australia on Day 2 of the second Test against India in Adelaide on Saturday, December 7. The left-hander slammed 140 runs off 141 balls, a knock laced with four sixes and 17 boundaries.
He was eventually cleaned up by Mohammed Siraj but helped the Aussies stretch their first innings lead past 100.
Head continued his love affair with Adelaide Oval (his home venue), having amassed 494 runs in his last seven Tests. The 30-year-old now has 634 runs and three tons at the venue.
Travis Head had previously slammed 89 against India during the second innings of the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Perth. The tourists, however, won the game by a massive margin of 295 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the five-game series.
Notably, Head had smashed tons for the Aussies when they beat India in the World Test Championship (WTC) and the ODI World Cup finals last year.
