UPW Squad WPL 2025: Complete UP Warriorz Player List with Prices in INR after WPL 2025 Auction

The UP Warriorz (UPW) polished their squad at the 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL) auction in Bengaluru on Sunday, December 15, after a disappointing 2024 campaign, where they failed to make the playoffs.

The franchise showed intent early on by going hard for West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin, but ultimately bowed down to the Gujarat Giants (GG), who bagged the player for INR 1.70 crore.

Despite the second-biggest purse, and only three slots remaining to fill, the UP Warriorz were the only team without a signing prior to the accelerated round.

After the break, the franchise bagged two quick signings in the form of Arushi Goel and Kranti Goud for their base prices of INR 10 lakh.

Australian leg-spinner Alana King marked the final signing for the team to complete the squad. The accomplished tweaker for both country and franchise had gone unsold in the previous two auctions, and finally got a chance to express herself under her national captain Alyssa Healy at the UP Warriorz.

The franchise have banked on their spin department, which already features renowned finger spinners like Sophie Ecclestone, Deepti Sharma, and Rajeshwari Gaywakwad. King's arrival rounds up the department with her wrist-spin ability.

After making three low-profile signings, the UP Warriorz leave the auction table with a significant purse of INR 3.4 crore still remaining, the highest among al franchises by a fair distance.
