Virat Kohli will feature in the Border Gavaskar 2024/25 1st Test
Team India's former skipper Virat Kohli will play a key role in the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy as India eyes a third consecutive Test series win Down Under.
Virat Kohli had to return to India during the previous series in Australia, as he was expecting the birth of his first child, Vamika. The then-skipper scored 74 and 4 in two innings as India recorded their lowest total in 36/9 before slumping to a seven-wicket loss in the first Test. India won that series 2-1 and registered their second consecutive series win Down Under.
Virat Kohli will be looking to put behind his poor form and return with strong performances as Team India aim for four wins out of five for a place in the 2023-25 World Test Championship Finals.
