Virat Kohli misses out on well-deserved half-century in IND vs BAN 2024 2nd Test

Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg believes that Virat Kohli has fallen way behind Joe Root (12402 runs in 146 Tests) on track of Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most runs (15921 in 200 Tests) in the red-ball format.
He recently said on his YouTube channel (via Indian Express):
“I just don’t think Virat is going to get there. I think he’s lost his momentum and the momentum that he’s lost has been for a number of years now. He’s got to turn around in the next 10 Test matches, or he’s going to drop off.”
As far as the match is concerned, the visitors put up 233 in their first innings. Hasan Mahmud top scored with an unbeaten 107 off 194 balls, including one six and 17 boundaries.
