[Watch] 35-year-old Sachin Baby pulls off a craze save near boundary line in Kerala Cricket League; saves 5 runs for his team
Aries Kollam Sailors captain Sachin Baby grabbed everyone's attention earlier today in the Kerala Cricket League with an incredible save near the boundary line. He saved five runs for his team in the game against Calicut Globstars.
The 23rd match of the inaugural Kerala Cricket League happened earlier today in Thiruvananthapuram, where the Sailors beat the Globstars by three wickets in a last over thriller.
Skipper Sachin Baby scored a match-winning 30 for the Sailors, but before that, he saved five crucial runs for his team while fielding at long-off in the 19th over. Globstars batter Nikhil M tried to hit a six off left-arm medium pacer Pavan Raj's bowling on the fifth ball of the over.
It looked like the ball would easily clear the boundary ropes, but Sachin pulled off a superman-like save at the boundary line. The commentators were amazed to see such athleticism from the Aries skipper at the age of 35.
