[Watch] Abhishek Sharma miscues a pull to get dismissed cheaply in IND vs BAN 2024 3rd T20I

Team India opener Abhishek Sharma was dismissed cheaply in the final T20I against Bangladesh today, October 12. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad plays host to the series finale.

Abhishek was run out after a good start in the first T20I in Gwalior and was dismissed cheaply as he looked to up the ante in the second game at Delhi. He walked out to open the innings alongside Sanju Samson and was on strike to face the fourth ball of the first over. After playing a dot ball he hit a boundary to get his innings underway.

He was on strike again to face Tanzim Hasan Sakib on the first ball of the second over where he looked to pull the pacer over midwicket. However, he failed to get that one over the fielder and watch caught, ending his stay in the middle.

Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for a run-a-ball four in the series finale, with his run tally reading 35 runs across three matches.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Team India was jolted early by the dismissal of Abhishek Sharma. Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav pressed their foot on the gas and didn't look to rest a bit as both the batters launched an assault on the Bangladeshi bowlers. The pair registered a half-century stand for the second wicket, ending the powerplay on 82/1.

Both batters continued their onslaught, with Samson registering the fastest half-century for an Indian batter against Bangladesh. India are on 98/1 after seven overs with the hosts eyeing a big total.
