[Watch] Arshdeep Singh gives a fiery send-off to Riyan Parag after getting him out in Duleep Trophy 2024 match
Left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh let out all his pent-up frustration on Riyan Parag's face after dismissing him in the second round of the 2024 Duleep Trophy in Anantapur on Thursday, September 12. He made the right-handed batter poke at an away swinger for an easy catch at slips and then stood and shouted at him in a fiery send-off.
Parag was batting brilliantly against a struggling Arshdeep. The latter came on as the first bowling change when India 'A' were two wickets down after the first 45 minutes of the match. But the pacer couldn't find his lines and lengths immediately, which Parag used to his advantage by hitting him for three boundaries in four balls.
He hit him for another four on the second ball of the 17th over. On the last ball, Arshdeep pushed it full and wide, taking it across the right-hander who went for a strong drive away from his body, thus getting a thick edge to Shreyas Iyer.

Arshdeep was also a tad unlucky. Because he came after the first 10 overs, the red ball had stopped swinging for him.
Harshit Rana and Vidwath Kaverappa took the new ball. The latter bowled well and took two wickets but the former could neither get any swing, or seam movement nor maintain any consistency, though he didn't leak runs either.
India 'A' in trouble after Riyan Parag's wicket
Arshdeep almost picked another wicket soon after when Shashwat Rawat got a bottom edge to wicketkeeper Sanju Samson. He was the only one appealing though and Shreyas Iyer decided against reviewing it.
But India 'A' soon lost Tilak Verma and Rawat to Saransh Jain and Rana, respectively. They ended the session reeling at 115/5 with Kumar Kushagra and Shams Mulani standing solid at the crease.
