[Watch] Arshdeep Singh knocks off Reeza Hendricks for duck with a ripper in IND vs SA 4th T20I
India’s Arshdeep Singh provided the perfect start to the Men in Blue against South Africa in the fourth and final T20I at Johannesburg on Friday, November 15. The visitors posted a massive target of 283 runs for the host. Hendricks walked back for a two-ball duck as South Africa lost their first wicket in the opening over of the run-chase.
The dismissal came off the third delivery of Proteas’ innings. Arshdeep bowled back of a length ball outside off that curved back in and crashed onto the top of the off and middle stumps. Hendricks was caught on the crease as he tried to fence at it.

With the dismissal, Arshdeep Singh continued his knack of picking up early wickets in the series. He also bagged two wickets in the next over. He went close to Yuzvendra Chahal (96) with 95 scalps in his journey to become the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is.
Arshdeep Singh help India dominate South Africa in 4th T20I
A clinical bowling display by Arshdeep Singh helped India continue their dominance against South Africa in the fourth T20I. At the time of writing, the hosts were struggling at 40/4 after seven overs, with Tristan Stubbs and David Miller at the crease.
Batting first, the Men in Blue posted 283/1 in their allotted 20 overs. Tilak Varma top scored with an unbeaten 120 off 47 balls, a knock laced with 10 sixes and nine boundaries. Samson also slammed 109 not out off 56 deliveries, hitting nine sixes and six boundaries.
The duo put on the highest partnership for India (210) for any wicket in the format. Abhishek Sharma also hit a quickfire 36 off 18 with the aid of four maximums and two boundaries. Lutho Sipamla took the lone wicket for the Proteas.
Suryakumar Yadav and Co. are leading the T20I series 2-1. They won the first and third T20I by 61 and 11 runs, respectively. The Proteas won the second game by three wickets.
The Men in Blue are on the verge of winning their fourth T20I series in a row after the 2024 T20 World Cup. They have beaten Zimbabwe (4-1), Sri Lanka and Bangladesh (both 2-1).
