[Watch] Arshdeep Singh strikes early with a slower one as Ryan Rickelton holes out to deep backward square in IND vs SA 2nd T20I

Arshdeep Singh continued his knack of picking up wickets in powerplays by dismissing Ryan Rickelton cheaply in the second T20I. The match is being contested between India and South Africa in Gqeberha on Sunday, November 10.

The dismissal came in the third over of South Africa’s run chase. Arshdeep bowled a slower length ball and Rickelton holed out to Rinku Singh at deep backward square. Rickelton walked back for 13 runs of 11 balls as the Proteas lost their first wicket for 22 runs.

With the dismissal, Rickelton once again failed to score big. The left-handed batter had scored 21 off 11 deliveries in the series opener in Durban.

Arshdeep, meanwhile, provided an early breakthrough again for the visitors, having dismissed Proteas captain Aiden Markram in the previous game.
