[Watch] Audacious Yashasvi Jaiswal engages in a funny exchange with Marnus Labuschagne on Day 2 of 1st IND vs AUS BGT 2024-25 Test
Yashasvi Jaiswal was at his confident best as he walked out to bat in the second innings on Day 2 of the first Test between India and Australia in Perth on Saturday, November 23. The left-handed batter spent time at the crease and got well settled before playing his natural game. The 22-year-old also took on premium Aussie pacers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood. At the same time, he ensured that he was not too aggressive in his approach after a duck in the first innings.
Jaiswal was engaged in a funny exchange during the 44th over of India’s second innings. The incident took place as Jaiswal tried to steal a single off Mitchell Marsh in between point and gully before deciding against it. Marnus Labuschagne tried to frighten Jaiswal by taking a sigh at the stumps soon after collecting the ball. In response, Jaiswal stayed centimeters outside the crease, trying to prove his audacious nature. The commentators were left in splits.
