Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj gave an interesting poster to teammate Jasprit Bumrah, praising him as the best bowler after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup trophy. The Hyderabadi bowler was part of the Indian playing XI for the first three games during the group stage. The team management opted for an extra fast bowler in those matches, considering the pacer-friendly conditions at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
However, Kuldeep Yadav replaced him in the playing XI after the action moved to West Indies in the Super 8 phase. Siraj remained on the bench for the rest of the tournament. He watched his teammates beat South Africa in the final to lift their second T20 World Cup trophy on Saturday, June 29.
Jasprit Bumrah played a crucial role in India's title-winning campaign, picking up 15 wickets across eight games. He also received the Player of the Tournament award for his stellar showing. Siraj paid tribute to Bumrah for his wonderful performances by giving him a poster while celebrating the win after the conclusion of the final.

Speaking to the broadcasters after the conclusion of the final, Mohammed Siraj heaped praise on Jasprit Bumrah and labeled him as the game-changer. He said:
"I only believed in Jassi bhai. The game changer is only one guy and that's Jasprit Bumrah."
On winning this tournament after a heart-breaking loss 2023 ODI World Cup, he continued:
"I was thinking of exactly that same day (19th November). It's an unbelievable feeling to be honest. I can't describe this feeling. Last year's World Cup we lost. As a player, this feeling is unbelievable. Every professional cricketer wants the World Cup. I am grateful, blessed and lucky to live this moment. Thank you God!"
