West Indies opener Brandon King lost his grip on the bat, sending it flying toward England keeper Philip Salt during the third and final ODI of the series. The match took place at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on Wednesday, November 6.
The incident occurred on the third ball of the 26th over of the West Indies innings. Sam Curran bowled a short delivery outside off, and King went for an aggressive pull shot. However, he lost his grip on the bat, sending it flying toward England keeper Salt, who was startled by the close call.

The right-handed batter played a standout innings, registering his third ODI century. King made 102 off 117 balls, with 13 boundaries and a six. He received solid support from Keacy Carty, who also scored an unbeaten century.
Carty finished with 128 off 114 balls, including 15 fours and two sixes, as the West Indies cruised to an eight-wicket victory with seven overs to spare. The win secured the series for the hosts, 2-1.

West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first. The visitors made a disastrous start, losing four wickets for 24 runs inside the first 10 overs. The young players -Will Jacks (5), Jordan Cox (1), and Jacob Bethell (0) - failed to make an impact, while captain and last match centurion Liam Livingstone was dismissed for just six.
Philip Salt and Sam Curran (40) shared a crucial 70-run partnership for the fifth wicket to steady England’s innings. Salt top-scored with 74 off 108 balls, while Dan Mousley marked his maiden half-century, finishing with 57 from 70 deliveries.
Towards the end, Jamie Overton (32) and Jofra Archer (38*) provided valuable contributions, helping the visitors reach 263/8 in their 50 overs.
Matthew Forde was the standout bowler for the West Indies, claiming three wickets, while Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd each took two.
