[Watch] Cameron Green plucks one-handed catch to send back Angkrish Raghuvanshi in KKR vs RCB IPL 2024 encounter

Cameron Green took a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Angkrish Raghuvanshi in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Sunday (April 21). The match is taking place between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens. With the wicket, Raghuvanshi perished for just three runs off four balls to leave the Knight Riders in a spot of bother at 75/3.

For the unversed, the dismissal came during the sixth over of the KKR innings. Yash Dayal bowled a length ball that angled into the right-hander and Raghuvanshi chipped it over the mid-wicket.

However, 6 feet 6 inches tall Green kept his eyes on the ball and jumped to perfection while balancing himself despite falling behind to the ground. Green and his teammates, including skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli, were delighted with the effort.

It's worth mentioning that Green is known for his excellent catches in the 30-yard circle, especially at gully.

RCB bounce back against KKR after Phil Salt's carnage in IPL 2024 match

A clinical bowling display from Yash Dayal and Mohammed Siraj helped RCB bounce back against KKR. That came after Salt smashed 48 runs off 14 balls in an innings laced with three sixes and seven boundaries. The right-hander smacked 28 runs off Lockie Ferguson in the fourth over before falling to Siraj in the next.

Dayal soon sent back in-form Sunil Narine, caught by Virat Kohli at long off before dismissing Raghuvanshi.

At the time of writing, KKR were 107/4 after 10 overs, with Shreyas Iyer and Rinku Singh at the crease. Venkatesh Iyer was the last batter to be dismissed, caught by Mahipal Lomror at deep square leg off Green.

RCB will be looking to avenge the seven-wicket loss they sustained against KKR in Bengaluru earlier this season. They are searching for their second win after losing six out of the first seven games in a disastrous start to their campaign.

On the other hand, KKR have won four out of six games but lost to Rajasthan Royals in a last-ball thriller in their last game. They will be looking to return to winning ways in an attempt to win their third IPL trophy after 2012 and 2014.
