[Watch] Celebrations galore as Bangladesh win a Test match in West Indies after 15 years
Bangladesh players celebrated in style after winning their first-ever Test match in West Indies after 15 years on Wednesday, December 4. The festivities began as Nahid Rana cleaned up Shamar Joseph to help the visitors notch up a 101-run victory against the Windies. With the win, they also leveled the Test series 1-1.
Chasing 287, the hosts were bundled out for 185. Kavem Hodge and skipper Kraigg Braithwaite got starts, scoring 55 and 43, respectively, but failed to take the Windies over the line.
Taijul Islam scalped a fifer for the tourists, while Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud bagged two each.
Sharing the winning moment, FanCode wrote:
"Bangladesh win a Test match in the Caribbean after 15 long years! A hard fought series ends in a 1-1 stalemate with both sides sharing the (cup)."

Batting first, Bangladesh put up 164 in the first innings. Shadman Islam top scored with 64 runs off 137 balls. Jayden Seals starred with the ball for West Indies, returning with four scalps. Shamar Joseph and Kemar Roach also bagged three and two wickets, respectively.
In response, West Indies were bundled out for 146. Nahid Rana bagged a fifer, while Hasan Mahmud picked up two wickets. Keacy Carty and Kraigg Braithwaite chipped in with 40 and 39, respectively.
In the second innings, the visitors posted 268. Jaker Ali top scored with 91 off 106 deliveries. Alzarri Joseph and Kemar Roach bagged three wickets apiece, while Shamar Joseph took two.

Bangladesh stand-in-captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz has credited the team for their fightback in the second innings after managing a modest total.in the first essay. He reserved special appreciation for the bowling unit after they bundled the Windies twice in the Test match.
He said in the post-match show (via Cricbuzz):
"We played really well and have to improve day by day. Feeling good at this moment. Boys bowled really well after we got all out for 164. Nahid Rana, Taskin and Taijul in the second innings. Great moment for us. It's all about the process. So many fast bowlers we have at this stage. Nahid, Taskin, Hasan and Tanzim is also there."
Bangladesh will next play three ODIs and as many T20Is against West Indies, starting Sunday, December 8.
