Charlie Dean took a stunning catch to dismiss Paige Scholfield in The Hundred on Sunday, August 4. The incident happened in the game between Oval Invincibles and London Spirit at Lord’s.
The dismissal came off the 60th delivery of Invincibles’ run chase. Spirit's Deepti Sharma bowled a length ball and Scholfield went for a big shot per mid-wicket but Charlie jumped to perfection to collect the ball out of thin air. She lost her balance while falling to the ground but ensured that ball didn’t fall off her hands.

With the ball, Deepti Sharma finished with excellent figures of 3/18 in her 20 balls. On the batting frront, the left-hander scored 44 runs off 34 balls with the help of six boundaries. The all-rounder had also scored an unbeaten 39 off 26 deliveries against Welsh Fire in her previous outing.
Oval Invincibles vs London Spirit The Hundred game ends in a tie
The match number 15 of The Hundred between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles ended in a tie as the two teams scored 113 each.
Asked to bat first, London Spirit put up 113/9 in their allotted 100 balls. Apart from Deepti Sharma, Cordelia Griffith and Eva Gray chipped in with 19 (12) and 18* (12), respectively.
Marizanne Kapp emerged as the pick of the London Spirit bowlers, returning with exceptional figures of 4/11, while Sophia Smale and Ryana MacDonald-Gay bagged two wickets apiece.
In response, Oval Invincibles tied the game as they failed to score two runs off the final delivery. Kapp top scored with 47 off 32 with the help of one maximum and six boundaries. Alice Capsey and Joanne Gardner also chipped in with 27 (18) and 16 (15), respectively. Apart from Deepti Sharma, Tara Norris, Eva Gray, and Charlie Dean also bagged one wicket each.
Oval Invincibles will next play against Manchester Originals at Old Trafford on Tuesday, August 6. Meanwhile, London Spirit will lock horns with Trent Rockets on Wednesday, August 7.
