[Watch] Deepti Sharma takes stunning return catch in 2024 IND-W vs NZ-W series decider
Deepti Sharma took a stunning catch in the third and final ODI between India Women and New Zealand Women at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, October 29. As a result, Izzy Gaze walked back for 25 runs off 49 deliveries.
The dismissal came in the 39th over of New Zealand’s innings. Deepti bowled a full toss and Gaze failed to make the most of it. The right-handed batter played it straight back at the bowler with not enough elevation. Deepti kept her eyes on the ball till the last minute to hold onto the catch while diving onto the ground before celebrating vociferously.
