"We will be alright there" - Aakash Chopra backs Virat Kohli to return to form in Florida
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra recently analyzed Virat Kohli's lean run of form in the 2024 T20 World Cup after his golden duck against the United States.
He opined that there was not much to worry about the iconic player's performances and played it down, citing the tough batting conditions in New York. Chopra felt that things would get better as India play on better pitches from now.
Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said:
"In the run-chase, Virat got out in the first over itself. It's been three matches and Virat has been dismissed off deliveries outside off-stump all three times. You think whether everything is right. I was saying before the last match as well and I am saying after this match too that I am not worried."
The cricketer-turned-commentator continued:
"I am bullish that Virat Kohli will score runs as he is not out of form, he is just out of runs right now. His bat hasn't struck the ball that well here, runs haven't come from the bat, but the story has ended here. Now they will be going to Lauderhill, which means when the match happens in Florida, we will be alright there. I feel Kohli will score runs there."
