Kapil Dev shares advice for under-fire Kohli, Rohit
Former India captain and cricket legend Kapil Dev has urged the struggling duo of Rohit and Kohli to go back to the basics and practice a lot more. Speaking to CricketNext, the 1983 World Cup-winning skipper said:
“Go back to the basics. Practice and practice and practice. If you say I will improve by sitting in the room, then it is not going to happen. If you are going through a rough time, just practice more. The more you practice, the better it will be for you."
Rohit and Kohli's next assignment will be the five-match Test series in Australia, which will be played as part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The series begins in Perth on November 22. Team India need to win the series 4-0 to reach the World Test Championship final without depending on other results.
