"From North a guy came to South as Chennai's captain. Dhoni, he is my favorite.”

“My father believes that MS Dhoni has been the best Indian captain so far” – Salman Khan
Salman Khan once revealed that MS Dhoni is his father’s (Salim Khan) first-choice captain. He asked a question regarding the superstar wicketkeeper in "Dus ka Dam", the popular TV show's second season.
Salman asked:
"What percentage of Indians believe that in comparison to Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, and Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni has been the best captain for the Indian cricket team so far?"
"My father believes that MS Dhoni has been the best Indian captain so far. Cool mind, positive energy, no wild celebration. He maintains the dignity on the field. Cricket used to be a gentleman’s game, he has maintained it," he added.
Dhoni is the most successful Indian captain in white-ball formats. He guided the Men in Blue to victories at the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy. The 43-year-old has also won five Indian Premier League (IPL) trophies with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Rohit Sharma recently became the second Indian captain to lift the T20 World Cup by winning the 2024 edition.
