[Watch] Haris Rauf sends Glenn Maxwell packing for 0 in AUS vs PAK 3rd ODI 2024, claims his wicket for the 3rd time in 3 matches
Pakistani seamer Haris Rauf extended his fine bowling form, dismissing Glenn Maxwell in the third and final ODI against Australia on Sunday, November 10. The match is being held at the Perth Stadium.
The dismissal occurred on the second ball of the 18th over when Rauf bowled a length delivery that angled back into the right-handed batter. Maxwell attempted to play it on the on-side, but the ball straightened off the pitch, taking a thick edge off his closed bat face and landing in the hands of Saim Ayub at backward point.
Maxwell was dismissed for a two-ball duck, leaving Australia at 79 for five after 17.2 overs.
Here’s a video of the dismissal:
This wasn't the first time the Pakistani bowler had the upper hand over the explosive Australian middle-order batter in the ongoing series.
In the first ODI, Rauf dismissed him for a golden duck with a back-of-a-length delivery, while in the second game, Maxwell dragged the ball onto his stumps for 16.
