[Watch] Haris Rauf sends Glenn Maxwell's off-stump cartwheeling and sets off in celebration during 2nd PAK vs AUS ODI 2024

Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf continued his dream start to the white-ball tour of Australia by dismissing Glenn Maxwell for a second consecutive time in the second ODI at Adelaide on Friday, November 8. Rauf had removed Maxwell for a golden duck in the opening ODI, which Australia won by two wickets.

Coming to the ongoing second ODI, the Pakistan speedster was running hot with figures of 3/23 in five overs. Rauf then further dented Australia when Maxwell inexplicably attempted to pull a short delivery outside off-stump, only to see his off-stump cartwheeling. The pacer set off in celebration as the Aussie all-rounder screamed in frustration.

Here is the video of Rauf getting the better of Maxwell once again:

Before Maxwell's wicket, Haris Rauf had bagged the big scalps of Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, and Aaron Hardie to put Pakistan on top in the must-win encounter.

He eventually completed his five-wicket haul with the dismissal of Aussie skipper Pat Cummins. It was Rauf's second ODI five-fer as he finished with outstanding figures of 5/29 in eight overs.

The 31-year-old picked up three wickets in the opening ODI and was a massive reason for Pakistan making it a closely-contested outing despite scoring only 203 with the bat.

Haris Rauf's spectacular spell helped Pakistan stun the Aussie batting lineup and bowl them out for a sub-par 163 in 35 overs in the ongoing second ODI. Winning the toss and bowling first, the Pakistan pacers were on the money from the get-go.

Shaheen Afridi dismissed the Aussie openers cheaply before Rauf took centerstage. The duo combined for eight of the 10 wickets, with Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain picking up one each.

Barring Steve Smith's 48-ball 35, none of the Australian batters even managed 20 as the hosts were shut out by a hostile and fiery Pakistan pace attack.

Pakistan have begun their chase on a positive note at 16/0 in three overs as they look to even the three-match series at 1-1.
