New Zealand pacer Rosemary Mair took a vital wicket for her team by trapping Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur's leg before wicket (LBW). It took place in the fourth match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 on Friday, October 4 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The dismissal occurred on the fourth ball of the sixth over. Rosemary delivered a fuller-length ball that swung in sharply. Harmanpreet attempted a big swipe but missed, and the ball struck her pads. The umpire quickly raised her finger to signal out.

Although the Indian captain opted for a review, the ball-tracking showed the ball clipping the leg stump, confirming the on-field decision. India lost an important wicket, with Harmanpreet scoring 15 runs off 14 balls, including two boundaries.
