[Watch] Harry Brook gets lucky on course to 100, survives bizarre bowled out dismissal in 2024 PAK vs ENG 1st Test
Harry Brook escaped a bowled-out dismissal before getting to his hundred in the ongoing first Test between England and Pakistan in Multan on Day 3 (Wednesday, October 9). The ball hit the stumps but the ball didn’t fail.
The bizarre incident took place when Brook was batting on 75 during the 76th over of England’s first innings. Aamer Jamal bowled a length ball that Brook defended on the back foot. The ball hit the deck and the helmets as the batter tried to keep it away from his gloves. The ball followed the line of the stumps before Brook could change its direction. Luckily, there was not enough pace left on the ball to dislodge the stumps.
