[Watch] Hilarious viral video featuring lookalikes of Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah
A video featuring lookalikes of Indian cricketers Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah is going viral on social media. The clip of the doppelgangers, having a striking resemblance to the Indian cricket stars, was reshared by the X handle of 'Out Of Context Cricket' and garnered more than 169K views at the time of writing.
Gill was the captain of the second-string Indian team that beat Zimbabwe 4-1 in a recently concluded five-match T20I series in Harare. The Men in Blue were stunned by 13 runs in the opening match but made an impressive comeback to win the remaining four games by comprehensive margins.
Gill finished as the leading run-getter in the five-match series against Zimbabwe, scoring 170 runs at an average of 42.50 and a strike rate of 125.93. The 24-year-old registered scores of 31, 2, 66, 58* and 13. The right-handed batter was not picked for the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the United States but was among the travelling reserves.

Speaking of Bumrah, the seasoned pacer was the Player of the Tournament in the 2024 T20 World Cup. In eight matches, he picked up 15 wickets at a brilliant average of 8.27 and an exceptional economy rate of 4.18.
The 30-year-old bailed India out of trouble multiple times during the ICC event. He was the Player of the Match for his figures of 3-14 against Pakistan and also claimed 3-7 against Afghanistan.
Bumrah was exceptional in the knockout matches as well. The seasoned right-arm pacer registered figures of 2-12 against England in the semi-final and 2-18 versus South Africa in the final.
Kishan recently opened up on central contract snub
While Bumrah and Gill have been part of international cricket recently, Kishan hasn't played for India since November 2023.
He asked for a break during India's tour of South Africa last year citing mental fatigue and has been out of favor with selectors since. The keeper-batter also lost his BCCI central contract.
In a recent interaction with The Indian Express, Kishan shared his thoughts what he went through mentally over the last few months.
"It was depressing. Today I don’t want to say that everything was fine. It was not easy for me at all. You go through a lot. Mere dimag mey ye sab chalta raha ki yaar kya ho gaya, kyu ho gaya, mere saath kyu (Questions like what happened, why me). All these things happened when I was performing," he said.
Kishan has featured in two Tests, 27 ODIs and 32 T20Is, scoring 78, 933 and 796 runs respectively. He has a double hundred in one-dayers.
