[Watch] India B captain Abhimanyu Easwaran decides to go against Rishabh Pant’s suggestion for DRS review, proven wrong
India B captain Abhimanyu Easwaran went against Rishabh Pant’s suggestion for a DRS review against Shivam Dube. The call came in their Duleep Trophy match against India A on Day 4 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The replays showed that the ball was missing the leg stump by a fair margin and Easwaran was proven wrong
The DRS challenge took place in the 18th over of India A’s chase. Mukesh Kumar bowled a full length on the stumps and Dube got forward to drive it with a full face to mid-off. The left-handed batter, though, missed the delivery as it went on to hit the pads.
Abhimanyu Easwaran asked Pant for his suggestion but went ahead with his gut feeling. But the replay showed that the ball was sliding down the leg stump.

Shivam Dube, however, failed to make the most of his chance, departing for just 14 off 27 in a 275-run chase.
