[Watch] India launches stunning new ODI jersey with Jay Shah and Harmanpreet Kaur
Team India have launched a stunning new ODI jersey on Friday at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters in Mumbai. The board secretary Jay Shah and women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur were present at the occasion.
The new jersey was a lighter blue color and lost the pattern on the shirt. Instead of the three tri-color stripes on the shoulder, it fashioned white stripes over a tri-color gradient, with tinges of dark blue on the armpit and end-of-the-sleeve areas.

The jersey will now feature in India men's Champions Trophy campaign next year and the 2025 Women's World Cup which will be hosted in India.
"It's an honor" - Harmanpreet Kaur
Harmanpreet, speaking at the event, expressed her pride in unveiling the new kit and hoped that the fans would love it as much as she does.
According to her, her team will wear it in the three-match ODI series against West Indies which begins on December 22. That means the three-ODI series against Australia from December 5 could be the swan song for the old kit.
"It's an honor to unveil the jersey today and I am really happy that we are the first one who are going to wear it against the West Indies team," Harmanpreet was quoted as saying in the BCCI video. "I really like the look. The tricolor on the shoulder looks really beautiful and [I am] really happy that, you know, we've got a special ODI jersey."
"Wearing the jersey is always a special feeling in itself. There's a lot of hard work that goes behind it and a lot of thought has been put in too. Hopefully, the Indian fans will also accept it and feel proud by wearing it," she added.
The men's team, who are playing the Border-Gavaskar Test series will probably get to wear it in February against England.
