[Watch] Indian comedian has fun on the Adelaide Oval ground after BGT 2024-25 2nd Test
Indian comedian Aakash Gupta was seen having fun at the Adelaide Oval after the culmination of the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) between India and Australia.
Gupta spent some time with Team India last year. He had also previously revealed that he did a comedy gig on one occasion, earning appreciation from the former coach, Rahul Dravid.
Gupta is currently in Australia and had gone to watch Team India play against Australia in the day-night Test in Adelaide. After the match concluded, he ventured onto the ground. In a video posted on his official Instagram account, he said:
"Adelaide Oval me hum haar gaye hai lekin ek bahut hi kamal ki cheez ye hai ki aapko match ke baad ground me aane milta hai. Ye woh ground hai jahaan match khela jaata hai (We [India] lost the match at the Adelaide Oval. But an interesting thing here is that after the game has ended, you are allowed to enter the ground. This is the ground where the match was being played)."
Gupta spent his time diving on the turf and said he would play high catches if he had a ball with him. Towards the end of the video, he attempted to take a catch with an object available to him nearby.

Team India gearing up for third BGT 2024-25 Test in Brisbane
After a 10-wicket loss at the Adelaide Oval, India will next be heading to Brisbane for the third BGT 2024-25 Test. The match commences on Saturday, December 14; winning this contest would strengthen Team India's hopes of a third consecutive appearance in the World Test Championship final next year.
The visitors have pleasant memories of the Gabba; back in 2021, they became the first team to beat Australia in 32 years at the venue. Rishabh Pant won the Player of the Match award for his knock of 89 runs as India beat Australia 2-1 in the series, registering a second consecutive Test series win on Australian soil.
