[Watch] Isitha Wijesundara celebrates Mohammad Haris' wicket with a hilarious dance after a stunning catch in LPL 2024
Isitha Wijesundara took a stunning catch to dismiss Mohammad Haris in Thursday night's Lanka Premier League Eliminator match between Kandy Falcons and Colombo Strikers. After completing the catch, Isitha performed a few dance moves to entertain fans.
It's common to see cricketers celebrating a fall of wicket with a dance in league cricket. The likes of Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Harbhajan Singh and Adam Gilchrist have celebrated wickets with dance moves.
Colombo Strikers' Isitha Wijesundara also joined that club, as he performed a funny dance after completing the catch to dismiss Haris. The Kandy Falcons batter tried for a flick shot against Binura Fernando but couldn't time it perfectly. The ball went straight to Isitha, who was in the 30-yard circle.

The LPL social media admin also dropped a laughing emoji in the caption of that Instagram reel. More than 900 fans have liked the video so far on Instagram, while the reel has been viewed 15,000 times.
Isitha Wijesundara exacted sweet revenge against Mohammad Haris in the LPL 2024 Eliminator
It's pertinent to note that during Colombo Strikers' innings during the LPL game earlier in the day, Isitha Wijesundara had got out for a golden duck. Mohammad Haris had taken the catch to dismiss him. A litte while later, though, Wijesundara took sweet revenge by taking the catch to send Haris back to the pavilion.
Although Wijsundara pulled off a brilliant catch, his efforts ended in a losing cause. Kandy Falcons kept their nerve in a run-chase of 160, scoring 163-8 in 18.4 overs to eliminate Colombo Strikers from the tournament.
The Falcons will now take on Jaffna Kings in Qualifier 2 of the LPl, with the winner set to battle Galle Marvels in the summit clash.
