[Watch] Jasprit Bumrah strikes twice to send back Rilee Rossouw and Sam Curran early in PBKS vs MI IPL 2024 clash

Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah provided a phenomenal start for Mumbai Indians (MI) against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game in Mullanpur on Thursday (April 18). The speedster dismissed stand-in captain Sam Curran and Rilee Rossouw to leave Punjab reeling at 14/3 in just two overs.

Bumrah first bowled a full-length ball that swung back late and Rossouw looked for a drive but didn't use his feet. The left-hander got beaten for pace and swing as the ball uprooted the off and middle stump. Rossouw, who replaced under-fire Jonny Bairstow in the playing XI, departed for just one run off three balls.

In the same over, Bumrah bowled another fuller delivery down the leg side and Curran tried to flick it towards the fine leg. The left-hander, however, managed a thick edge to Ishan Kishan behind the stumps. Interestingly, the on-field umpire gave it out but MI took a brilliant review. Curran left the field after scoring six runs off seven balls.
