[Watch] Jayden Seales gets rid of Zak Crawley with a brilliant yorker in the 1st Test against England
West Indian pacer Jayden Seales bowled a fine yorker to dismiss England opener Zak Crawley in the first Test match against England on Thursday, July 11. Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to ball first in the overcast conditions.
The England bowlers responded brilliantly, with debutant Gus Atkinson leading the way with seven wickets as the West Indies got bundled at 121 in the first innings.
Zak Crawley was playing brilliantly for England until Jayden Seales bowled a yorker. The fifth ball of the 31st over was when the West Indian pacer dismissed Crawley.
The English opener was beaten for pace as the ball went under his bat to hit the stumps. Seales ran towards the point with his arms stretched in celebration, ecstatic at taking the wicket.

England finished the day at 189/3 after 40 overs. Zak Crawley (76) and Ollie Pope (56) scored brilliant half-centuries. Meanwhile, Joe Root (15) and Harry Brook (25) were at the crease at the end of the day's play as England looked to have a big first-inning lead.
Debutant Gus Atkinson shines for England on Day 1
With all the hype surrounding the legendary England pacer James Anderson playing his final match, it was Gus Atkinson who surprised the West Indian batters.
The right-pacer first sent the West Indian captain, Kraigg Brathwaite, pacing on six as he got his first test wicket. It was the 35th over of the West Indian innings when Atkinson was on complete fire. He took three wickets in four balls (Alick Athanaze, Jason Holder, and Joshua Da Silva) as the West Indies found their back against the wall.
Mikyle Louis (27) was the highest run scorer as the West Indies as they were bowled out on 121. James Anderson, who is playing his final Test, also got a wicket in the form of Jayden Seales.
Meanwhile, Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes took one wicket each as England completely dominated Day 1 of the Test.
