Pakistan Women won the toss and chose to bat first, but things didn’t go in their favor as they lost both openers within four overs. Pooja Vastraker provided two early breakthroughs for India, dismissing Gull Feroza (5) and Muneeba Ali (11).

Deepti Sharma got the important wicket of the Pakistani captain in the 12th over. Nida Dar went for eight runs on 11 balls. Sidra Ameen, who was batting well on 25, was dismissed by Renuka Singh on the fifth ball of the 13th over.
