Jemimah Rodrigues' performance in the 2024 Women's Asia Cup

Jemimah has not had much to do in the 2024 Women's Asia Cup in the two matches that the team has played so far. She was unbeaten on six off three balls against Pakistan as India Women gunned down a target of 109 in 14.1 overs. All-rounder Deepti Sharma starred with 3-20 with the ball, while openers Shafali Verma (40 off 29) and Smriti Mandhana (45 off 31) added 85 in the chase.

Jemimah was dismissed for 14 off 13 balls in the game against UAE. She struggled to get going and did not hit a single four in the innings. Her stay at the crease ended when the right-handed batter hit one from Kavisha Egodage straight to mid-off.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (66 off 47) and keeper-batter Richa Ghosh (64* off 29) played excellent knocks to lift India to 201-5. In the chase, UAE were held to 123-7 as Deepti claimed 2-23, while four other bowlers chipped in with one wicket each.
