[Watch] Kagiso Rabada shatters Mushfiqur Rahim’s stumps for 300th Test wicket in BAN vs SA 2024 1st Test
South Africa's pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada bowled Mushfiqur Rahim to pick up his 300th Test wicket on Day 1 (Monday, October 21) of the first Test against Bangladesh. The Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka is playing host to the first Test matches of the two-match series.
After the Proteas were asked to bowl first, Rabada opened the bowling alongside Wiann Mulder. While Mulder struck thrice, Rabada had to wait till the 14th over to get his first breakthrough.
Rabada erred on his first ball of that over, bowling a no-ball. He would then concede a boundary against Mushfiqur Rahim but made a resounding comeback. The pacer bowled one on a good length and got the ball to shape back into Mushfiqur, who would chop it back onto his stumps while trying to defend.
