[Watch] Kagiso Rabada uproots middle stump to dismiss Mushfiqur Rahim in 2024 BAN vs SA 1st Test
South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada bowled an absolute jaffa to dismiss Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim on Day 3 of the ongoing first Test in Dhaka on Wednesday, October 23. With the wicket, the Proteas speedster sent back both Mahmudul Hasan Joy (40 off 92 balls) and Rahim (33 off 39 deliveries) to reduce the hosts to 106/5 in the first session.
The dismissal came in the 32nd over of Bangladesh’s second innings. Rabada bowled a full-length ball that angled in from over the wicket and swung as Rahim tried to drive from the off-stump line. The right-handed batter was beaten by the pace as the ball skidded, entering the bat-pad gap to rattle onto the middle stump. There was no foot movement from Rahim to counter the 136kmph delivery.
