West Indies player Kavem Hodge took a stunning catch at third slip to get rid of South Africa's No. 3 batter Tristan Stubbs on Day 1 of the second Test match on Thursday, August 15. The match is being played at Providence Stadium in Guyana.
The dismissal took place on the fifth ball of the 23rd over. Jason Holder bowled a full delivery outside off stump, drawing Tristan Stubbs into a driver. However, the right-handed batter only managed to get a thick edge. Kavem Hodge, standing at third slip, flew to his left and took a brilliant catch to get rid of Stubbs.

Before departing, Tristan Stubbs scored 26 off 65 balls, including three boundaries. The right-handed batter's wicket left South Africa reeling at 57/4 after 22.5 overs.
Shamar Joseph takes a fifer to put South Africa on the back-foot
The visitors won the toss and chose to bat first, but it was the hosts who started on a bright note. Jayden Seales provided an early breakthrough for the West Indies by removing Tony de Zorzi for one.
Shamar Joseph, playing his first Test in the West Indies, was on a roll as he dismissed Aiden Markram (14) and Proteas captain Temba Bavuma (0) in the 11th over. Tristan Stubbs showed some composure, but his innings was cut short by Jason Holder as South Africa found themselves at 64/4 at lunch on Day 1.
Joseph continued his good run by dismissing David Bedingham (28) in the third over after lunch. In the very next over, Jayden Seales removed Wiaan Mulder to put South Africa on the back-foot.
Joseph dismissed Keshav Maharaj and Kyle Verreynne to complete his fifer. At the time of writing, South Africa were at 128/9 in 43 overs with Dane Piedt and Nandre Burger at the crease.
