[Watch] Khaleel Ahmed dismisses Yashasvi Jaiswal for 30 in IND A vs IND B 2024 Duleep Trophy match
Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed claimed his first wicket for India A by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal during their 2024 Duleep Trophy clash against India B at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday, September 5.
The dismissal happened on the first ball of the 21st over of Team B’s innings, which Khaleel bowled short and wide outside off-stump. Jaiswal tried to cut the ball but it went straight to substitute fielder Shaswat Rawat, who took an easy catch at backward point.

The left-hander made 30 off 59 balls, with six boundaries. His dismissal left India B at 53-2 after 21.1 overs.
India B lose openers Jaiswal and Easwaran in the first session
India A captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first. India B's openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Easwaran, established a 33-run partnership off 78 balls before Avesh Khan dismissed Easwaran
Easwaran, who had been relatively settled at the crease, edged a wide delivery outside off-stump. Dhruv Jurel, displaying sharp reflexes behind the stumps, took a spectacular flying catch. Easwaran made 13 off 42 balls, including one boundary.
Khaleel Ahmed then provided the second breakthrough for India A by dismissing the dangerous Jaiswal for 30. At the time of writing, India B were 62-2 after 26 overs, with Musheer Khan (6) and Sarfaraz Khan (7) at the crease. Avesh and Khaleel have each bagged one wicket for Shubman Gill’s side.
