[Watch] Kieron Pollard’s El Dorado celebration inspired by Turkish Olympian after a 4-fer in CPL 2024 clash
Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) captain Kieron Pollard came up with an El Dorado celebration in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 following a four-wicket haul against St Lucia Kings at Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad on Tuesday, September 24.
The reaction came as Pollard took his fourth wicket in the last over of St Lucia’s innings. The medium pacer dismissed Faf du Plessis, David Weise, Roston Chase, and Sedrack Descarte in the match. He finished with impressive figures of 4/38 in his four overs.
For the unversed, El Dorado is a gunpoint celebration, which has become popular once again after Turkish Olympian shooter Yusuf Dikec won a silver medal in the 2024 Paris Games.
Sharing the video on Instagram, CPL’s official handle wrote:
“Pollard, the sharp shooter.”
