[Watch] Kieron Pollard takes an incredible diving catch to dismiss Moeen Ali in MICT vs JSK SA20 match

MI Cape Town captain Kieron Pollard pulled off one of the best catches of the year on Saturday, January 13, in the ongoing SA20 tournament in South Africa. Pollard grabbed an incredible diving catch to send Moeen Ali back to the dressing room during the match between MI Cape Town and Joburg Super Kings earlier today.

The second season of SA20 is currently underway in South Africa. MI Cape Town played their second game of the season against last edition's semifinalists Joburg Super Kings at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

Rassie van der Dussen's century helped MICT set a massive target of 244 runs for their rivals. Chasing 244, JSK lost wickets at regular intervals. They were 41/4 in the sixth over when Moeen Ali deposited one from Beuran Hendricks into the stands.

On the next ball, Ali tried another big shot on the off side, but this time, the ball went to the fielder Kieron Pollard, who dived to his right to complete a fantastic catch. You can watch the video here:

Pollard took advantage of his tall height to complete the catch. He has taken many incredible catches in his T20 career, and this was another addition to that long list.

MI Cape Town captain Pollard also took the catch to dismiss Romario Shepherd in the same match. With that catch, Pollard became the first player in T20 cricket history to take 350 catches as a fielder. No other fielder has even taken 300 catches. This is a testament to not just Pollard's abilities as a fielder but also his omnipresence in T20 leagues around the world.

David Miller is second on the list with 286 catches, followed by Dwayne Bravo, who has taken 265 catches. Shoaib Malik and Alex Hales are the other names present in the Top 5. Malik has taken 218 catches, while Hales has completed 215 catches.
