[Watch] Kuldeep Yadav's double strike triggers Pakistan's batting collapse during IND vs PAK 2023 World Cup match

Kuldeep Yadav has given India a couple of massive breakthroughs in their ongoing encounter against Pakistan during the 2023 World Cup game in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 14.

Just when it looked like Pakistan were setting themselves up for a final flourish at the backend of their innings, Kuldeep's strikes have pegged them back. There hasn't been much help in the pitch for the spinners, but it's the skill from Kuldeep that foxed both Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed.

Shakeel tried to hang back and defend to a delivery that he should have perhaps dealt with on the front foot and got trapped in front. Rohit Sharma took a good decision to review as DRS showed three reds and the southpaw had to walk back to the pavilion after six runs.

Iftikhar Ahmed tried to play positively and smashed a half-tracker from Kuldeep to the boundary. However, he tried to play a sweep shot off the next ball and could only glove it back to his stumps to depart after four runs.

Here's a video of both the dismissals from Kuldeep Yadav:

Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah trigger Pakistan's batting collapse

When the partnership between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan took Pakistan to 155/2, it seemed like the Men in Blue were set to chase a stiff total. However, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah have brought the hosts roaring back into the contest in almost no time.

Siraj once again used his scrambled seam to great effect as he cleaned up Babar and opened the gates for Kuldeep and Bumrah. Rizwan needed Saud Shakeel and the rest to hang around and build another partnership, but Kuldeep's double-strike caused a lot of panic in the Pakistan camp.

Bumrah backed it up by producing two absolutely sensational deliveries that beat Rizwan and Shadab Khan all ends up and rattled their furniture.

Rohit Sharma and co. can almost sense more wickets to follow and will be keen to go for the kill and ensure they bowl out Pakistan as soon as possible.
