Kuldeep Yadav pulled off a blinder to dismiss Matthew Wade in the 2024 T20 World Cup clash between India and Australia at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia on Monday, June 24. The left-hander departed scoring just one run off two balls as India closed on their victory.

The dismissal came in the 18th over of India’s innings. Arshdeep Singh bowled a hard length ball outside off and Wade tried to punch it away but only managed a faint edge to the short third man.

Kuldeep dived to his right to complete the catch millimeters in front of the ground. The TV umpire took a closer look for verification and declared it out after conclusive evidence proved that Kuldeep had his fingers underneath the ball.
