[Watch] Litton Das slog sweeps Ravindra Jadeja and gets caught in the deep in IND vs BAN 2024 1st TestÂ
Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja helped the hosts see the back of Litton Das at Chepauk on Day 2 (Friday, September 20) of the Test between India and Bangladesh. Jadeja picked up his first wicket of the match with that scalp.
Litton Das walked out to bat at the fall of Mushfiqur Rahim's wicket. Carrying his form from his previous series against Pakistan, he took on the likes of Jasprit Burmah, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep, accounting for a few boundaries.
With spin coming on, Das was beaten on a couple of occasions. He lost his patience and went after Jadeja, playing a big sweep on the second ball of the 29th over. The ball took the top edge and Dhruv Jurel, in for Bumrah on the field, held onto it nicely to see the back of the Bangladesh wicketkeeper.
Take a look at his dismissal below:
Litton Das departed after scoring 22 off 42 balls. His dismissal brought Mehidy Hasan Miraz to the middle.
