[Watch] “Maaf karna bohot hi ghatiya acting kari” - Rohit Sharma hilariously trolls Shivam Dube over Virat Kohli's imitation

Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel - all members of India's winning squad of the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup - were invited to the third episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2. It was aired on the OTT platform Netflix on Saturday, October 5.

The first season saw Rohit Sharma and fellow Mumbai and India teammate Shreyas Iyer being invited, with the duo engaging in some light moments with the cast of the show. Based on a similar theme, this time, they were celebrated for bringing home an ICC trophy after 11 years.

In a game of dumb charades, Rohit Sharma was asked to guess the player by the actions. Shivam Dube was tasked with enacting Virat Kohli as Rohit Sharma held the placard on his forehead. The 37-year-old did manage to get it right, but he trolled Dube for his acting. Jokingly, he added:

“Maaf karna bohot hi ghatiya acting kari” (Sorry to say but you've acted quite poorly)

Rohit Sharma played a crucial role in helping Team India win the recently concluded 2024 Men's T20 World Cup. Across eight games, the 37-year-old scored 257 runs at a phenomenal strike rate of 156. He scored three half-centuries including a stroke-filled 92 against Australia in the Super Eight stage of the tournament. He was second only to Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who scored 281 runs in the same number of outings.

The skipper effected good changes throughout the tournament. He was lauded by one and all for winning close contests like the one against arch-rivals Pakistan and the summit clash versus South Africa.

Rohit, alongside Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, hung up his boots in the shortest format of the game after beating the Proteas in the final by seven runs. Suryakumar Yadav succeeded Rohit Sharma as T20I captain.
