[Watch] Marcus Stoinis' six off Haris Rauf lands on the stadium roof in AUS vs PAK 2024 3rd T20I

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis smashed a huge six in the third T20I against Pakistan on Monday, November 18. The Bellerive Oval in Hobart was the venue for the third and final game of the T20I series.

Marcus Stoinis had walked out to bat at number four. The all-rounder was a bit slow to get off the blocks but once he picked up pace, he looked unstoppable as he sent the ball flying to all corners of the park.

Stoinis was facing Haris Rauf in the ninth over of the innings and greeted the pacer with a four. The 35-year-old then smashed him for a maximum before once again hitting him for a boundary. Off the fourth delivery, Stoinis hit the ball so hard over the fence that it went out of the ground.

Stoinis then took a single and ended the over with 21 runs to his name. In total, Australia scored 22 runs in that over, with Josh Inglis scoring the second single in the six balls.

Walking out to bat at 30/2, Marcus Stoinis took a while to get off the mark and looked a bit scratchy at the start. Post the powerplay, Stoinis played a few cuts and added a few boundaries under his belt before he unleashed an assault on Haris Rauf.

Stoinis would then charge at Shaheen Shah Afridi and hit him for two sixes and a boundary off consecutive deliveries in the 11th over. He then smoked a maximum off the first ball of the 12th over, leveling the scores. Australia managed the last run thanks to a no-ball from Abbas Afridi and won the T20I series 3-0.

Marcus Stoinis won the Player of the Match for remaining unbeaten on 61 off 27 balls while Spencer Johnson was adjudged the Player of the Series for picking up eight wickets in the series.
