[Watch] Mark Adair takes stunning catch at boundary ropes to dismiss Mohammad Rizwan in PAK vs IRE 2024 T20 World Cup match
Mark Adair took a well-judged catch to dismiss Mohammad Rizwan in the 2024 T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and Ireland in Lauderhill, Florida, on Sunday (June 16). The wicketkeeper-batter got a good start, scoring 17 runs off 16 balls, including three boundaries. However, he failed to convert it into a big innings in Pakistan’s last match of the ICC tournament.
The wicket came in the sixth over of Pakistan’s run chase. Barry McCarthy bowled a length delivery on the stumps and Rizwan went for a big shot towards deep backward square. The ball was travelling over Mark Adair, but he leapt in the air to take a good catch over his head. He also ensured that his feet were inside the boundary skirtings, fighting against his body's natural momentum. He not only saved a certain six, but also took a good catch.
