[Watch] Mitchell Santner traps Ravindra Jadeja lbw to bag maiden fifer in 2024 IND vs NZ 2nd Test
Mitchell Santner dismissed Ravindra Jadeja (LBW) to bag his first-ever fifer in the ongoing second Test between India and New Zealand at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Day 2 (Friday, October 25). Jadeja walked back for 38 runs off 46 deliveries, leaving the hosts reeling at 136/8 in their first innings.
The dismissal came in the 44th over of India’s innings. Santner bowled a length ball that spun sharply from outside off. Jadeja got beaten by the movement as the ball struck his pads. He took a review but it went in vain. The replays showed the ball would’ve crashed into the leg stump.
