India beat South Africa by seven runs in the 2024 T20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on June 29. The Men in Blue's return to India was, however, delayed by Hurricane Beryl. After being stuck in Barbados for a few days, they finally landed in Delhi early on July 4.

Both events saw the presence of a huge gathering of fans. Siraj returned to Hyderabad on Friday after attending both functions in Mumbai.
