On the work front, Siraj finished wicketless in the first innings of the Indore Test. So far, the speedster has managed to scalp just one wicket in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to rank-turners, which assists spinners.

However, the Hyderabad-born speedster is expected to play a significant role in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia.

Siraj recently scalped five wickets in two ODIs against New Zealand and nine wickets in three ODIs against Sri Lanka. The right-arm pacer took 24 wickets in 15 ODI games last year.

Team India will hope that he continues his excellent form in the 50-over format ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup at home.

Mohammed Siraj was retained by RCB for Rs 7 crore ahead of IPL 2023

Mohammed Siraj, meanwhile, has been retained by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 7 crore ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). He will look to continue his purple patch in white-ball cricket despite managing just nine scalps in 15 games last season.
